We are excited to invite you to an insightful roundtable discussion focused on the use of Hypothesis social annotation in education.

What is Hypothes.is?

Hypothesis is a Blackboard learning tool that combines digital social annotations within your courses, allowing you to track your students’ annotations and responses as well as grade them! We have gathered a panel of distinguished MC faculty who have hands-on experience with Hypothesis and its application in teaching and learning.

Our panelists include:

  • Carina Rock
  • Mathew Decker
  • Chip Gladson
  • Sharon Anthony
  • Karen Penn de Martinez

During this roundtable discussion, the panelists discuss the ways in which Hypothesis, an interactive annotation tool, has transformed the learning experience for them and their students. In this recorded panel, each professor discusses strategies for fostering engagement, facilitating collaborative learning, and enhancing critical thinking skills through interactive annotations.

This discussion is a valuable exchange of ideas and experiences and offers insights into innovative teaching practices that leverage technology for effectively meeting learning outcomes. Whether you are already familiar with Hypothesis or are curious about its potential benefits, this session provides meaningful conversation and knowledge-sharing.
