Greg Sember

For this month’s Personal is Pedagogical podcast, we are pleased to present Political Science Professor Greg Sember on the Rockville campus.

In this podcast, Sember reflects on his career and how he developed a classroom without walls, informing his teaching philosophy. He shares his perspective on teaching students beyond the borders of the traditional classroom. For example, he takes his students to the heart of the political action in Washington DC and utilizes social media to educate his students. By moving politics outside of the classroom, he creates an atmosphere of engagement and lifelong learning.

  1. My friend Sue Haddad talked so lovingly about you. So impressive. As a psychotherapist and a business owner I can see the value of having had your experience in different sectors. You are the teacher that every student remembers.
