In this workshop participants will experience and discuss a classroom activity that promotes multicultural awareness and appreciation, a good student-faculty relationship, and group cohesion – all important factors for student success.
OUTCOMES: Participants will be able to: summarize the portrait activity; discuss its usefulness for student success; analyze how the activity can be incorporated in their lessons; begin designing a lessons that includes the activity.
