In today’s rapidly changing economy, are colleges doing enough to prepare students for the world and to be creative thinkers? Renowned speaker and author, Yong Zhao, challenges the current emphasis on testing and rigid curricula and asks educators to let students’ passions and innovations lead the way.

This discussion is based on Zhao’s book, World Class Learners: Educating Creative and Entrepreneurial Students and will address topics such as:

  • Redefining Entrepreneurship
  • The Environment of a School
  • Student Voice
  • Student Choice
  • Project-Based Learning and Product-Oriented Learning

In preparation for the discussion, please read this blogpost by Yong Zhao:
