Dr. Thomas Bailey has recently retired from the position of Vice Dean of the Sciences Programs at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). He has had a diverse and wandering career. He enlisted in the Navy in 1976, was commissioned in 1990, and retired in 1995. During that time, he earned his BA and MS degrees. After retiring from the Navy, he earned his MA and PhD degrees. Also during that time, he operated a company providing consultation to NSA, Northrup Grumman, AACC, NIST, and AeroTec. Dr. Bailey also taught as an adjunct instructor at AACC, UM@B, and JHU. From 2001 until 2006, he was the Director of the Undergraduate Psychology Program at the University of Baltimore and taught both undergraduate and graduate courses.
