teaching and learning togetherWelcome to the start of the Fall semester!

As we begin the new academic year, ELITE invites you to explore the Multicultural Moments, Teaching and Tech Tips of the Month, @Work: Tip of the Month, MC Forward, and this month’s featured professional development opportunities for September.

ELITE kicked off the Fall semester by offering faculty and staff over 30 high-performance workshops and speed sessions during Professional Week. Over 650 faculty and staff reconnected in the spirit of Teaching and Learning Together. The day gave us an opportunity to create positive ― even amazing ― changes across the MC community and beyond!

As the Virtual Campus continues to take shape, ELITE would like to invite you to our Virtual Campus Lounge hours for September. The Lounge will be once a month for one hour via Zoom (Meeting ID: 936 0253 9486, Passcode: 716431). Feel free to “drop in” and ask questions, brainstorm ideas, or provide suggestions on anything related to the virtual campus.

To help kick off the semester with a bit of fun, we have more MC gear than ever to give to two lucky winners of our monthly H5P challenge. To enter, all you must do is:

  1. complete this month’s ELITE Interactive Game (see below); and
  2. send us a copy of your answers by 5 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022.

Winners will be selected at random and contacted via email. For an extra chance to win, “like” the September ELITE Digest post on the Montgomery Employees Facebook page by 5 pm on September 11, 2022.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this month’s Digest. The ELITE team looks forward to serving your professional development needs.

If you have any questions or feedback about our latest edition of the ELITE Digest, please let us know or contact us through the various ASK ELITE channels.
