How Should We Treat Others? What does it mean to be a global citizen? What does it mean today? What might it mean in the future? How can we create a pedagogy that will help us learn and teach others how to teach global citizenship?
The Global Humanities Institute funded by two grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, has created a method for exploring these questions through the creation of a new Gen Ed course, faculty training, public education events, and collaborations with universities abroad. In this video, Professor Kranidis explains how instructors can help students impart knowledge about global systems and experience a personal transformation as a result of studying the world through the humanities.
