COVID-19 prompted Montgomery College and many academic institutions across the nation to enter into remote teaching and learning in early 2020. With infection rates still high in Montgomery County, the College continues to prioritize the health and safety of its students and employees by continuing in this remote environment. As we move into the Spring 2021 semester, we are providing our students with scheduling options to become more successful while managing their personal situations that may have been altered because of the global pandemic. You will hear various ways in which these faculty create a strong online presence in their accelerated courses to increase the motivation and engagement of their students. You will hear strategies used by both faculty and students to be successful in these faster-paced courses in the midst of a global pandemic.
