Best Practices in Having Conversations Around Social Justice

As we work towards MC 2025, faculty and students need to foster a community of conscience that recognizes shared and differing voices, opinions, and ideas as we learn, work, and grow together.  When reflecting on one’s place in the college community, it takes immense courage to self-reflect and participate in open and honest conversations around social justice issues and concerns. In this faculty/student panel, you will hear various ways faculty and students operationalize social justice philosophy within the classroom by seeing each other as co-learners rather than adversaries, and incorporating diverse experiences and backgrounds in the teaching/learning process.
