Student Reactions to 2016 Presidential Election

The day after the election, I wrote the words “I feel…” on the board, and my students did a free write for about 30 minutes. Then, they were invited to share their reflections with the class. Most students chose to stand up and read their responses to the class. A few students asked me to read for them. Their responses are below. (Note: I made minor spelling and punctuation edits.) Some students later submitted their responses (with their names) to the Excalibur student newspaper.
