Tips for Teaching Online and Blended Courses

Students in online or blended courses want two things: a course that is clear and well organized and a professor who is present and responsive.  This session will address tips and strategies for creating an engaging, student-friendly learning experience in an online or blended course.

• Describe what students want from an online or blended course.
• State five ways to make your course more student-friendly, engaging, and easier to teach.
• Describe three ways to pre-empt predictable issues.
