Tips for Using the Events Calendar
- Use the search bar/icon at the top to look for a topic, date or specific workshop.
- Click the List, Month, and Day buttons to the right of the search bar to change your view.
- In the calendar view, dates with multiple events will show a “More” button. Click on “more” to show all events.

Building Collective Intelligence: Facilitating Group Work for Deeper Learning (In-person at TPSS)

In this one-hour workshop, faculty will explore strategies for facilitating collaborative problem-solving to enhance student engagement and deepen learning. Participants will learn how to structure group work and implement problem-based learning activities that foster teamwork, communication, and collective intelligence. The session will feature examples of effective collaborative practices across disciplines and offer guided time for faculty to design or adapt a collaborative activity for their own courses. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with tools to promote meaningful student collaboration. This session is valuable for faculty teaching in any modality or discipline.
