Teaching in Honors Courses

This workshop will explore best practices in teaching honors students. Along with presenting desired learning outcomes for honors students, classroom practices, assignments and assessments appropriate for honors students will be explored. Handouts and samples of assignments will be provided. Opportunities for faculty and students in The Honors Program will also be considered. This workshop is strongly recommended for all faculty currently teaching in honors, but new faculty interested in developing an honors course offering will also benefit from the work-shop.
