Ahhh nothing better than waking up at 6:30am for those 8am classes. To make things worse you’re running on a few hours of sleep because of all the homework you’re been trying to catch up on. Well I’m here to help with a few tips I found to help you wake up in the mornings!
- Drink water: Drinking water first thing in the morning is a great way to start your day. Drinking water first thing in the morning is good for you since it can’t relieve toxins in your body and give you a little boost of energy. 🙂
- Be active: You can start your day with a small workout. Yes you may be sleepy while doing them but it’s a good way to wake up your body and stretch those muscles before you start your morning! Plus it’ll give you a little boost of energy.
- Music: Up beat music might just be the thing that gets you going and out of bed in the morning. Anything from The Weekends new album to hearing Logic saying “MCs study” lol ( his song mama/show love).
- Aromatherapy: Ahhh nothing better than nice smelling things in the morning. Well did you know that the aroma of rosemary, eucalyptus, peppermint and citrus are known to have energizing properties that will allow you to start your morning energized.
- Caffeine: If all else fails, resort to a cup of coffee or to an energy drink. As a college student myself; I can say at least 80% survive on coffee and the other 20% on energy drinks. (Although, please be careful when drinking energy drinks as they can become dangerous and life threatening if consumed in large amounts throughout the day.) But if not abused that will for sure get you up and going in the morning … but in reality coffee has several benefits to your health; Including weight loss, lower risk or cancer and strokes.
