5MillionDollarGraphicMontgomery College will receive more than $5 million in a federal grant award from the US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration job training programs. A total of 14 community colleges in Maryland will benefit from the $14,957,899 in federal funding to support training programs. Montgomery College will receive $5,371,743 to lead the consortium of colleges focused on training in cybersecurity, information technology, professional, scientific and technical, and educational services industries. MC was among nearly 270 community colleges across the county that received a total of $450 million in job-driven training grants.
