Sherri Cook Woosley earned an MA in English from University of Maryland where she taught both Academic Writing and World Mythology classes. She left teaching to pursue two new dreams: creative writing and starting a family. So, she eloped to Florence, Italy and came back ready to write. Sherri has short stories published in various anthologies and literary journals including Abyss & Apex Magazine, Bewildering Stories (“Two Sides of a Triangle” won the Mariner Award), and Third Wednesday. She also has four children, a husband, and a hedgehog. She blogs about blending motherhood and fiction at Taste of Sherri.
