On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the students in my two Introduction to Business classes visited the Entertainment Nation Exhibit at the National Museum of American History. During the visit each group selected one object displayed at the exhibit as the basis of their project. In the next three weeks, each group will develop a report which will include information on the selected entertainer and\or the selected entertainment product (i.e. a TV show, a movie, a music album, etc.) and the role it played in shaping the culture, creating new trends and markets, influencing the politics and\or affecting the socioeconomic environment of its time. The groups will also explain whether they think the exhibit has achieved its mission. Furthermore, they will explain which entertainer or entertainment product in their opinion was missing and why.
