It’s that time of year again when the Christmas shopping is in full force. We’re all looking for gifts to give to our family members and all those secret Santa’s we decided to involve ourselves in because of the multiple friend groups you’ve made due to the clubs you are in. It can be hard shopping for others, especially when you’re unsure of the specifics of what to get the person you’ve only spoken to 10 times and know nothing about. Not to worry, I’ve got you covered with gifts any MC Student would love!
- MC merch, who doesn’t love a great hoodie to wear while you’re studying for finals? I can say personally in the winter, I live, sleep, and eat in hoodies 24/7 and of course, I have to represent the best community college. Not to mention the MC bookstore has a great selection of hoodies, there is definitely something for everyone.
- Being a college student is no joke, our days are long and stressful. The one thing most of us don’t get enough of is water! Thus, water bottles can be such a big help to us stay hydrated throughout the day. Plus, who doesn’t like a good water bottle?
- Going back to the long and stressful days, sometimes all we need is a nice cup of coffee. Which is why, coffee gift cards are the most thoughtful gift of all. With so many chains and privately-owned coffee shops, it works out perfectly! If you’re in the Rockville campus area I recommend Black Lion coffee shop!
- A planner! Is it obvious I love planners yet? I suggest everyone has one so why not give the beauty of organization?
- For a simpler gift, we have stickers! I may be 20 but stickers still take over my computer. MC bookstore sells MC stickers actually! But you could also go on Etsy and buy stickers more personalized to their major, which would be a cute touch and something anyone would love.
- Something thoughtful that I’ve loved doing is giving framed photos as gifts as well. A happy memory they can take and cherish.
