Hi, I’m Kristina Little! I am a Montgomery College Recruiter at the Rockville campus. As a lifelong Montgomery County resident, Montgomery College has always provided opportunities that nurtured my growth & development as a camper, student, employee, and active community member. So, when I’m recruiting students to become a MC Raptor – I ask them to reflect on, “Why they should choose MC?”
Although each student will have different reasons, those reasons can always be connected to MC offering competitive academics at an affordable and convenient price! MC students can:
- Choose from over 100 different degree and certification programs
- Participate in nine NJCAA D1 & D2 athletic teams
- Attend class at any 3 Montgomery County, MD campus locations (Takoma Park/Silver Spring, Rockville, & Germantown) and online
- Have a 30% chance of being awarded Pell Grants
- Request tuition assistance with the $50 million offered in Financial Aid
- Apply for over 300 different scholarships worth $6 million
Most importantly Montgomery College is accessible to high school students and recent graduates to enroll as full/part time students, visiting students, transfer students, D1 & D2 student athletes, Dual Enrollment students, and/or study abroad students. I believe MC is filled with endless resources that fuel students’ success, and I am confident MC plays a “transformative role in the lives of individuals, businesses, and communities throughout Montgomery County, Maryland.”
That being shared with students, I then ask them, “Why wouldn’t you choose MC?”
