Many people think about what they love and who they’re grateful for. This clutter of thoughts had me thinking of reasons why I love Montgomery College.

  1. The professors at Montgomery College have been revolutionary to my academic experience. The professors have gone above and beyond to teach through their real-life events and allow us to express our ideas and thoughts in the classroom.
  2. The hard-working students at MC have been one of my biggest motivators these past 3-years. Most students coming from Montgomery County Public Schools are always hungry for opportunities and success. Meaning that everyone has a “failing is not an option” mindset. Students are ready to help one another. Or even when it gets hard we all struggle together staying in the library for 6 hours after we all decide to procrastinate on our group project… (may or may not be based on a true story.)
  3. At MC you can also find opportunities to become a leader. Opportunities like being part of Student life and participating in student government associations or Student activity boards or even MC LEADS. There is always room for opportunities to grow and become a stronger leader.

Montgomery College isn’t just an academic institution; it’s a nurturing ground where knowledge, ambition, and camaraderie thrive. As I celebrate love and gratitude this season, Montgomery College stands as a beacon of growth, empowerment, and community—a place I’m profoundly grateful to be part of. Its professors, students, and opportunities for leadership have collectively shaped an experience that’s not just about education but about fostering a culture of support and growth.
