Hi, everyone! It’s another Friday and I want to take this opportunity to thank YOU for taking the time to read our blogs. If you are a new MC Blogs reader, WELCOME! If you have been following us for a while, we really do appreciate you! We always hope that we can help you with new information and unique ideas about not just how to survive in college but how to make the most of our college experiences, both good and bad. It’s now the beginning of November and we have come so far in terms of finishing up the semester. I hope we keep the Spirit of thankfulness not just on Thanksgiving day, but starting today.

I think that it is important to note where we are and where we want to be in life. Checking a bucket list sometimes gives us that boost in our confidence that we can do something outside of our comfort zone or allows us to believe that anything is possible if we put our mind into it. We have heard of the saying, “when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.” Not giving up is the key.

I don’t know how many people make bucket lists (I personally only know a few people who do) but I think that bucket lists are a cool and effective way to visualize the BIG and often risky things you’ve experienced throughout your lifetime.

I hope by sharing my bucket list, it will inspire you to make a bucket list of your own! 🙂

So, here goes…

Before I Graduate College, I Want To…

1.) Maintain a good GPA.

2.) Meet new people and create lasting friendships.

3.) Learn how to be better at being productive.

4.) Buy my own car!

5.) Be better at communicating with people.

6.) Make my own unique (but delicious) recipe.

7.) Pet an elephant.

8.) Go to a haunted house!

9.) Write a song (I’ve been trying for years, I was only able to finish 2 so far).

10.) Meet a famous person

11.) See the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (again)!!

12.) Go to a drive-in movie.

13.) Dye my hair a different color (I’m so scared to).

14.) Try long acrylic nails (always preferred the short nails).

15.) Bake a cake successfully.

16.) Send a care package to any friend starting college.

and last but not the least…

17.) Make a difference.

My name is Ray Ann. I grew up wanting to be a lot of things. Being a lot older now, I realize you never really grow out of those dreams.

I’m 23 years old, barely 5 ft. tall and often mistaken as a high school student. But you know what they say — good things come in small packages. Despite me being a little vertically challenged, I’m a huge basketball fan. I love fast cars and fast…food. I love the color pink and my friends’ sense of humor. I aspire to be the realistic half of my favorite female fiction characters: to be bold and fearless like Nikita, witty, intelligent and fashionable like Blair Waldorf and sweet and sassy like Cher Horowitz.

Being a blogger means a lot of things. We write about anything and everything, including our own lives. We can choose to be private or be an open book. But I hope to share only meaningful and helpful things to anyone who reads my blogs. Montgomery College will always be a big part of my life as it gave me an opportunity to find myself and discover the things I love and gave me all the more reason to be myself.

Let’s believe in each other.

  1. I like your bucket list. Too often, people say things like “I want to bungee jump” or some other somewhat crazy show off type of thing to prove what they can do. It is all centered around self, but your bucket list mostly centers around doing good and making a difference, and that is so much more important in the grander scheme of things! I hope you are able to check off each and every one!
