And we made it!!

It is always a great feeling at the end of the semester. And for some of us, it might just be what were waiting for since the beginning of September. But time flew by so fast! I still remember being so nervous on my first day (always) and I remember showing up to one class a week earlier than we were supposed to (has anyone else have that happen??) with like 4 other people and it’s so quite and awkward and we were all just waiting for people we weren’t sure would even come. My advice for next semester is, please, read the start date for all your classes and don’t let this happen to you! You could always laugh about it (I did) but if you don’t have any time to waste, it’s always good to read instructions.

The end of something marks the beginning of another.

This time, we’re all just awaiting a holiday break. And then we resume to our daily routines. Some are taking winter classes. Others are traveling.  And on January 23rd, Spring semester begins! During the break, I always like to relax my head, laugh, go on road trips, hang out with friends and read light books. And then a week or two before school starts, I start getting nervous! But I think that almost everybody (right?) . And at the same time, 5 weeks is enough to make me miss going to school so I also actually get excited!

What you do during the break is important to help you prepare for the next semester! I always see school as like a soccer game. I have to practice and do warm ups to prepare for THE big game (i’m finally done with Math so that’s less mental push ups for me, hopefully!) .

So I hope everybody has a nice break! It’s been a great semester and i’m thankful I’ve been given this opportunity to blog and be doing something I always wanted to do! For those who are graduating, congratulations! Enjoy your next journey being in another place and seeing new things! Until next time!

My name is Ray Ann. I grew up wanting to be a lot of things. Being a lot older now, I realize you never really grow out of those dreams.

I’m 23 years old, barely 5 ft. tall and often mistaken as a high school student. But you know what they say — good things come in small packages. Despite me being a little vertically challenged, I’m a huge basketball fan. I love fast cars and fast…food. I love the color pink and my friends’ sense of humor. I aspire to be the realistic half of my favorite female fiction characters: to be bold and fearless like Nikita, witty, intelligent and fashionable like Blair Waldorf and sweet and sassy like Cher Horowitz.

Being a blogger means a lot of things. We write about anything and everything, including our own lives. We can choose to be private or be an open book. But I hope to share only meaningful and helpful things to anyone who reads my blogs. Montgomery College will always be a big part of my life as it gave me an opportunity to find myself and discover the things I love and gave me all the more reason to be myself.

Let’s believe in each other.
