Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in association with Kalanidhi Dance Presents… Spanda Indian Classical Dance

Bharatanatyam, one of the most magnificent dance forms of India, is presented by Spanda, India’s highly acclaimed Bharatanatyam dance group, in a fresh and imaginative new way.  Created and choreographed by world-renowned dancer Leela Samson, Spanda’s distinctive choreography rediscovers the essence of Bharatanatyam, highlighting its beauty through the use of subtle pattern and movement, focusing both the dancer and audience on the beauty to be found in stillness.
