Maryland Youth Ballet: Mini Nut (Sensory Friendly)

Join us for a special sensory-friendly performance of the Mini Nut! This unique holiday experience is designed for adults and children of all abilities, including individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism, and neurodiverse learning needs. We are creating a welcoming environment with adjusted sound and lighting, as well as an introduction to the ballet characters to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with a performance that embraces diversity and accessibility for all, making this timeless ballet a joyful and inclusive event for the entire community. • House lights will stay up with no flashing or strobe lights.
• Sound volume will be lower and any potential loud noises from the stage will be restricted.
• Audience may leave and return to their seats.
• Audience may talk during the performance.
• Fidget objects, noise-reducing headphones, and other sensory tools or devices are allowed inside the theater during the performance.
• Wheelchair accessible seating is available but must be reserved in advance.
