Leggett Building Project Activity Update – November 19, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• Hauling Materials
  The soil replacement for the foundation of the new building continues, and soil removal from the site is occurring as needed. Work on footings and foundations at the northern end of the site continues.
• Concrete
  Concrete frames, reinforcing bar, and concrete material deliveries are continuing to be delivered and placed. The concrete installation for the footers and foundation walls is advancing. All trucks are required to follow designated routes to and from the site and must enter and exit on Fenton Street from Philadelphia.
• Holiday Updates
  Montgomery College will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26. There will be no work on the site during those days. Our next project update will be sent on December 3. Have a wonderful holiday!
