Leggett Building Project Activity Update – June 3, 2022

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• • Concrete Operations
    All of the large and complex concrete pours have been completed and only small pours remaining. All scheduled pours will take place during regular work hours beginning at the standard 7 a.m. and concluding in the later afternoon.
  • Hauling Materials
    Soil continues to be replaced and removed from the site as necessary.
  • Deliveries
    Deliveries of materials are continuing to be received for installation within the structure. All trucks are required to follow designated routes to and from the site and must enter and exit on Fenton Street from Philadelphia.
  • Progress Update
    There has been significant progress made on the Leggett Building construction to date, including several key milestones such as the completion of the steel structure and concrete pours.
