Leggett Building Project Activity Update – July 2, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• Fencing
  Within the next two weeks, wood fence installation will begin. The wood fence will be eight feet tall and will be installed along a portion of Takoma Avenue.
• Site Utilities
  The sanitary piping and structure installation along the east side of the jobsite continues, concurrent with the ongoing storm drain work. These activities include the use of dumpsters for material removal.
  
• Lighting
  The existing light fixtures at the corner of Takoma Avenue and Fenton Street have been illuminated with temporary power and will receive permanent power upon completion of the project.
• Fourth of July
  There will be no work on the project on Monday, July 5, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We hope everyone has a happy and safe long weekend.
