Leggett Building Project Activity Update – December 23, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• Steel
  Deliveries of steel columns and beams are being received, and work on the erection of steel columns has begun. All trucks are required to follow designated routes to and from the site and must enter and exit on Fenton Street from Philadelphia.
• Hauling Materials
  Soil is being removed from the site and replaced as needed. Foundation and footer work has been completed.
• Montgomery College Closures
  Montgomery College will be closed the week of December 27. During that time, there will be no weekly update. We will resume our regular emails the week of January 3. Please feel free to contact us via email or the project hotline, listed below.
• Holiday Updates
  The jobsite will be closed on the following days: Friday, December 24; Monday, December 27; Friday, December 31; and Monday, January 3. There will be no work on the site during those days. Happy Holidays!
