Leggett Building Project Activity Update – April 1, 2022

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• Steel
  All steel deliveries and installation have been completed.
• Concrete Operations
  The placement and finishing of concrete floor slabs within the steel structure is progressing. For more information on the current concrete process and site operations, please read our concrete fact sheet.
• Hauling Materials
  Soil is being removed and replaced as needed.
• Field Office
  As previously noted during our Project Update Forums, a field office will be installed on the construction site. Installation is expected the week of April 11 and will not affect current site operations.
