Facilities Master Plan Public Meeting
Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
via Zoom

The Facilities Master Plan defines how the College plans for new and upgraded facilities across all our campuses. Specifically, the Facilities Master Plan reviews the conditions of existing facilities and defines the College’s future needs outlined in the College’s strategic plan. The Maryland Higher Education Commission uses the plan to ensure the College is prepared to meet the needs of residents for postsecondary education and subsequently uses the plan to assess the College’s requests for new and modernized facilities. Further information about the current Facilities Master Plan can be found here: MC Facilities Master Plan 2013-2023.

The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) requires an update to the Facilities Master Plan every 10 years. As the College embarks on our next Facilities Master Plan for 2023-33, your feedback will be helpful to ensure the College can meet the needs of the students and residents of the county.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 13, for a virtual public meeting to review the draft Facilities Master Plan and items specific to the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We have made the decision to host this as a fully virtual meeting to ensure everyone is able to interact with us and with each other in the same format.

You can RSVP to join in the Zoom meeting.

You will receive a confirmation email after registering. Zoom information will be provided as the date nears. Please visit the Submit Your Feedback page to ask a question or share a comment.
