Leggett Building Project Activity Update – December 17, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in the Leggett Building construction project at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. We will strive to keep our neighbors informed about significant construction events with this weekly email notification.

Upcoming activities are listed below:

• Steel
  Deliveries of steel columns and beams will start this week. Work on the erection of steel columns will follow. All trucks are required to follow designated routes to and from the site and must enter and exit on Fenton Street from Philadelphia.
• Hauling Materials
  Soil continues to be removed from the site and replaced as needed. Foundation work is complete and footers are expected to be completed next week.
• Montgomery College Closures
  MC is closed beginning Friday, Dec. 24 and returns on Monday, Jan. 3.
• Holiday Updates
  The jobsite will be closed on the following days: Friday, December 24; Monday, December 27; Friday, December 31; and Monday, January 3. There will be no work on the site during those days. Happy Holidays!
