YuJa, a video management platform, has been implemented at Montgomery College to support faculty and staff in creating high-quality and accessible educational content. Training is provided in collaboration with ELITE to support Montgomery College employees’ success in creating and utilizing inclusive multimedia content. Visit Workday to register for the next basic or advanced session. Every other Friday, Ask ELITE Live is also available for questions and support using YuJa. Check out the Ask ELITE Live schedule in the YuJa resources section for more information.
YuJa is an all-in-one video platform that facilitates recording, editing, and sharing educational videos. It provides various features that support accessibility, such as caption editing, a compliant video player, and interactive quizzes that can be created with accessibility in mind. Instructors can use YuJa to enhance their teaching by creating engaging and interactive course content that meets the needs of all students; the platform’s features make it easy for instructors to create high-quality videos that can be easily accessed and understood by students with a range of abilities. Moreover, YuJa’s analytics dashboard provides insights into how students engage with the content, allowing instructors to make instructional changes based on student needs and preferences.
We hope that these resources will be useful to you as you explore and utilize YuJa. If you have any questions or need additional support, please do not hesitate to contact us.
