Hello All,

Please join the teams from SmithGroup architects, Barton Malow, and LINK Strategic Partners for our next design charrette and project update about the Catherine and Isiah Leggett Math and Science Building on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. At this meeting, you will see refinements to the exterior design and hear about preparation for construction.

This event is part of the College’s ongoing commitment to engage with community stakeholders as we continue the design and plan construction of a building that balances the needs of neighbors, students, and fiscal prudence. Please watch for details about our future community meeting on September 10.

The College remains committed to conducting all the construction-related activities in a manner that uses the most modern techniques that are safe, protect the environment, and respect the neighborhood that we share. As activities begin, we invite you to visit the project website to learn more about them and see relevant background materials. We invite you to continue to submit comments online or by email.

Sincerely yours,

Brad Steward Signature
