https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xOA7dKSThWY Hey! Welcome to my fourth entry at MC Voices, today I will be showing…
Hello again Raptors!
This last week has definitely been very busy for me. School is honestly kicking my butt. So much to study for and keep up with that I feel like there’s not enough time! Well, at least that’s what it feels like. We’ve all been here, am I right? Time is so precious that sometimes we take it for granted; therefore, I decided to take a step back and look at what’s happening right now. I want to share the things I do to feel less stressed and how they’ve helped me in the past.
- Listen to music: Music is so important to me because it honestly takes away the stress and can help me feel happier or excited about what’s coming my way.
- Drawing: So I’m no artist, but I do enjoy sketching random things in my sketchbook. With some colors and photographs I may have around, inspiration strikes! I then have something to look back at and remember that it’s good to distract yourself from everything else once in a while.
- Shopping: Alright, I know this is not for everyone, but I do enjoy walking around a store and seeing what’s new. It relaxes me and it makes me excited about the change in seasons and gives me ideas on how I could decorate different parts of my house!
- Time with God: I love spending time with God. This means listening to podcasts, reading my bible, and singing along to my favorite Christian radio station. I don’t define myself with a specific religion, yet He is very important to me and maintaining a relationship with Him is something that will always be part of my life. As a result, my worries and the challenges that I face all become easier to overcome.
Well Raptors, these are the things I do when I’m facing too much stress at school, home, etc. and they have helped me so much. I hope you can reflect on the things you can do to help you handle the challenges that life brings our way.

Your ways to relax are very similar to mine. Well, shopping may be at the bottom on my list but I do like home stores! Glad to see a young person is putting God in their life, if not religiously then spiritually. I also would add exercise – a walk or going to an hour class at the gym is really beneficial.
Wow! That’s very cool Jane:) And I definitely forgot exercising, but yes I do agree with you. I personally try to go outside yet before I moved to a house I couldn’t do it all the time. But now I definitely can!!
