I think we all are in desperate need of a break, and thank God for breaks which is exactly what we need. Not completely, for some people, this is the time to catch up on all the procrastination made (may or may not be speaking about myself too). While yes, it’s multiple days without new assignments, this means it’s the best opportunity to catch up on late work and 5 more things you didn’t even know you had to do.
Here are a few tips and reminders of a few things that should be done!
- Get caught up on your school work. If you are behind on completing any homework, my best tip for organizing is making a list of assignments per class, then organizing that from most to least important assignments to do, and then combining those into a to-do pile. Tip: I recommend using those to-do notepads and a planner. A combination of those is truly an academic weapon.
- Make an appointment with your counselor to make sure you’re on the right path to graduation! Not to mention to make sure you’re taking the correct classes the following semester.
- On that note…Register for the next semester. Registration is open and classes are filling up quickly.
- If you are graduating soon… congratulations! You’re almost there! However please do remember to actually apply for graduation via your MyMC account.
- Do you love saving money on college classes (because I know I sure do!) Take this opportunity to apply for scholarships on MyMC and even start the FASFA process.
- And the most important one; even though school can be a hassle, spend time with those most important around you! Tell them how much you’re thankful for them and care about them!
