After being at Montgomery College for a little over 2 ½ years I have taken over 25 courses ranging from biology to philosophy. Now I have loved all my classes, although there have been some professors at MC that took that subject to a whole different level. Here are my favorite teachers I’ve had at MC. I highly suggest you take their classes if you ever get the chance!

Professor Eli Moore

Professor Eli Moore in Introduction to Ethics. I’ve been a philosophy fan, loving to learn about different perspectives. The way Professor Moore taught this class was beyond what I could have asked for. He would find a way to involve and use real-life stories in the theories we were learning. Talking about his amazing life journey was inspirational to hear about. He taught the class in a way that allowed us to truly focus on ourselves and how our lives and responses to our life events were a factor in our ethics. The class environment was very relaxed so we never had to worry about taking crazy notes.

Professor Kellon Bubb.

Professor Kellon Bubb for Communications 108! Professor Bubb was one of the funniest professors I’ve had at Montgomery College. He always told us his life stories and his very impressive career path which was nothing short of inspirational. The class itself was fun. Whether you like it or not, you will get over your fear of public speaking.

Professor Ronald Beverly

Now with Professor Ronald Beverly, I had the pleasure of having him for over three courses, which were all in photography. He is a very talented photographer in his field it’s been a privilege and honor working alongside him. Not to mention his funny personality makes the class even more enjoyable.

Professor Donovan Marks
Professor Donovan Marks

Professor Donovan Marks is the reason why I became a double major in photography. I owe a lot to him. He is another skilled photographer having photographed the Washington National Cathedral for several years. Professor Marks made his class easy to understand for beginner photographers. He has a good sense of who is interested in a photography career and will go out of his way for us to get as much exposure a possible.
