Benita Manga

Hey everyone! My name is Benita and I’m a second year student here at Montgomery College. I’m majoring in nursing with the intent of making my way up to become a Nurse Practitioner. I’m striving to be the first medical professional in my family!

Aside from school I work a part time job teaching children gymnastics. I’ve really discovered my passion for working with kids which is leading me to want to specialize in pediatric nursing. I’ve done gymnastics for about three years and continue to try to work to get better at it.

Aside from school and work I absolutely love going to try new restaurants and foods around the DMV area and love watching movies! One hobby I’ve recently picked up on is vlogging. I vlog on tiktok, (you guys should follow me @bxniita :), and showcase how I romanticize everyday life. I find that the things we don’t always love to do, such as studying, are so much more enjoyable to do when you learn to appreciate all the different parts of it.

I’m a huge introvert and am on a journey of trying to open myself up more to new experiences and meet new people at MC. Join me as I navigate through balancing school, work, and social life.
