October 1, 2015 @ 8:00 am - October 23, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

Surviving the Storm: Hurricane Katrina 10 Years Later Art Exhibit

Ten years out from Hurricane Katrina, the effects of the storm are still being felt. The Gulf Coast has changed drastically during rebuilding, and many people are still displaced. This national, open-call exhibition revisits the storm and its impacts. While some works touch on the social, political, racial, and economic impacts of Hurricane Katrina, most still grapple with the sheer magnitude of the storm and its devastation.
