Education, Activism, and the Legacy of Malcolm X: A Conversation with Ilyasah Shabazz (General Admission)

Dr. Vincent Intondi hosts an intimate and in-depth conversation with Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, on the importance of education, 21st century activism, Black Lives Matter, and the legacy and impact of her father. Ms. Shabazz holds a master of science in education and human resources development and is a community organizer, social activist, motivational speaker, and author of the critically acclaimed Growing Up X. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice President and Provost, Student Life, Women’s and Gender Studies, Humanities Division, Department of Education and Psychology, and the CAC.
