The Hub is pleased to add to its repertoire podcasts from MC staff and faculty on how their personal experience has influenced their work at MC, whether it be in the classroom or in the way they relate to students. This is a series of podcasts that will spotlight various MC staff/faculty with respect to their personal philosophies on student success.

This month’s ELITE podcast on the Personal is Pedagogical features mathematics Professor Ingrid Van Brown-Scott from the Rockville campus. Professor Brown-Scott recalls her own education in math and how she motivates her students to excel in mathematics. She emphasizes the importance of mentoring students to believe that they can achieve.
