otivational Speaker. Entrepreneur. Musician. Professor. Author. Marcus Johnson has created success for himself on both the national and global stages. His educational background consists of a BA degree in Music (Howard University), and a Law Degree and an MBA (Georgetown University). He was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and made his TED Talks debut at NYU (2016) and participated in another series in Vancouver. While in graduate school, he partnered with Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder and entrepreneur Robert L. Johnson to start Marimeji Entertainment Group, which later became Three Keys Music, an independent record label that produced over 25 albums by several internationally-known artists. As an independent artist, Marcus was nominated for an NAACP Jazz Album of the Year. To date, he has released 18 studio albums (seven of which has appeared on Billboard’s Top 10 Contemporary Jazz chart).
Marcus is the Founder and CEO of FLO Brands, a wine and lifestyle brand. His book, For the Love Of… dives deeper into the life lessons he learned while working to make his dreams a reality. His radio show entitled Catch the Flo with Marcus Johnson can be heard in locally 10 markets and around the world.
