Julie Wakeman-Linn reports from out in the wilds of Africa.

A lovely bit of news for one of our Potomac Review authors.  We nominated “The McDoogle Family Home” by Sara Domet  to the New Stories from the Midwest, published by Ohio University Press and it listed as Distinguished.  Other journals on the distinguished list were Prairie Schooner, Gettysburg, and the New Yorker.  Congrats to Sara and to us.

My crazy story “Fire and Ice” is out at Danse Macabre.  Unlike most of my work, this story isn’t African, isn’t post-modern, and is a bit naughty.  It is in the section called Tales from the Brunch Side.  Enjoy.

You can follow the Tanzanian exploits of our editor in chief on leave at her blog Gecko Tails.
