AWP is just around the corner and Washington, D.C. is covered in several inches of snow. If it sticks, it’ll make for some exciting photo opportunities for the shutterbugs among you. At the Potomac Review, we are excited to be a conference contributor, and we have lots of events planned.
Fiction Editor Julie Wakeman-Linn returns from Tanzania to host our “Best of 50” reading on Friday, February 4th at 9:00 a.m. in the Diplomat Ballroom. Later in the evening, our managing editor Will Grofic will co-host a Moon Milk Review reading featuring Potomac Review contributors. The reading starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Johns Hopkins University D.C. campus, located at 1717 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. (Dupont Circle metro stop).
Also, we’ll have a table at the AWP Book Fair, so come by between sessions and see us! Check out Issue 48, pick up details on our Flash Fiction Contest, and meet some of our associate editors including Susi Wyss, whose book Civilized World will be out in March. We’re doing fantastic things at the Potomac Review and we look forward to your being part of it.
Have a successful conference!
