I love Equinoxes. Happy first day of Spring. The Potomac review fiction contest is now closed. Thank you to everybody who submitted. Your entry fee supports us, our internships, and our issues in this dire economic time. We are delighted that people from all over– Hawaii all over the continential U.S. and Canada– sent us stories. How did you folks hear about us? No matter, we are just tickled that you did.
So we will take stacks of your stories out to the screened in porch and to the patio and enjoy them and the crocuses and the daffodils. Spring is Maryland is a very fine time of year.
We are also in the final planning stages of Conversations and Connections III: practical advice on getting published. Run, don’t walk to the website (www.writersconnectconference.com) and register because it looks like we will sell out again this year.
Our favorite literary consultant Amy Holman will be back for her consults as well. Sign up quickly as they always fill. You can email us at PotomacReviewEditor@montgomerycollege.edu after you have registered to grab your spot.
I’m just coming off spring break and it has been a wonderful writing week. all the best, Julie
