This contemporary dance performance by Padi Dapi Fish of Lithuania is about the search of each child’s unique qualities, how to cherish them while creating valuable, respectful interactions with others. Transposing real-life situations into the imaginary world of princesses, dancers talk about the unique princess inherent in each of us.

Koko and his parents have just moved from their picture-perfect countryside hometown to the big city. With the help of his new friends and a neighbor, he investigates the mysterious case of an old man who died in the home they just moved into. The old man, it seems, has begun to re-appear as a ghost – though no one knows why. Koko and the Ghosts is a family film based on a popular Croatian series of young-adult novels about a twelve-year-old hero, brave enough to overcome his fears and smart enough to solve big mysteries.

The hug is understood as a sign of openness and sincere acceptance throughout different cultures and it is inherent from childhood. It helps to grow, sense oneself, become stronger, feel confident and get on with life. This performance tells the story of an older brother who’s trying to teach his younger sister to play with her small and motionless arms and – most importantly – to hug. With the help of their parents, her arms “grow up” through the end of the performance and she is able to do so many things: to clap, to play, to draw and to hug.

The story begins with a crocodile egg that lands in a duck’s nest. Out pops Guji Guji- a small crocodile that is raised as a duck. Mother Duck doesn’t care that Guji is different from the other young ones. They are her children and she loves them all, just the way they are. Problems arise when Guji Guji meets two big crocodiles. They declare that Guji is a bloodthirsty duck-eating crocodile – just like them!
