The Boys to Men program seeks to foster a greater degree of academic success, student activism and personal responsibility through personal mentoring. Students in the program gain personalized assistance and access to resources while being surrounded by other motivated and focused students.
Additionally, students who participate are assigned a faculty mentor who works with them throughout the academic year. The faculty mentor provides the much needed guidance and support necessary to navigate the college environment.
The College established the program to address and eradicate the achievement gap and retain African American/Black male students.
